Free MP3 Img The love of money is often times the world's motivation.... what is ours? We'll pursue that question here today on Bridging the Gap, as Pastor Lloyd Pulley picks up where he left off in his study of First Peter. We'll be in chapter five, examining the motivation for elders in the church, and it's a motivation that should exist in the life of every believer as well.

One of the greatest travelogues ever written is the book of Acts in the New Testament. This account of the early Christian church, written by Luke is interesting to study and inspiring to understand. Today we'll return to chapter nine, as we look at the ministry of the apostle Peter. It's important to remember that the events we read about today took place during a sea change in the post resurrection church. Saul, the persecutor of Christians, was now the Apostle Paul, a man on fire for the gospel.

SCRIPTURE: Acts 9:31-43
