Beginning in the book of Haggai, this four-part series uses assorted scriptures to zero in on the times in which we live through the lens of scripture. Today, truth is suppressed and we seem to be adrift: wars and rumors of war, Critical Race Theory, LGBTQ+, cancel culture, indoctrination of our children and so on. But God will strengthen and purify his people even as He shakes the nations and he promises the latter glory will be greater than the former glory. In this series, Pastor Lloyd reminds us that evil has a shelf-life and God's plan prevails through history.

Jesus had a habit of frequently leaving the crowds and going to a quiet place to pray. As we face trials and difficulties, and we long for God to intervene, our enemy applies his strategy to keep us from prayer. That is all the more reason we must pray. In this three-part series, Pastor Lloyd encourages us not to waste our sorrows but to turn them into prayer, to be intercessors for one another and to be persistent in prayer.
