The heart is a repository that directs the mind and determines our walk. A fool trusts his own heart. But when we bind mercy and truth upon our hearts, leaning not on human understanding but unto God, we won’t fall for lies. We will recognize the one who values wisdom because of his heart for truth, his devotion to the Lord, and his submission to correction.
