When your faith is challenged, how do you respond? Are you ready to stand up for what you believe, even if it costs you respect, position or worse?

Today many Christians shy away from standing up for their faith and from sharing it with others because they fear rejection. And yet, throughout scripture we are commanded to boldly uphold the truth of the Gospel. We are exhorted to "always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that in in you, with meekness and fear", (1 Peter 3:15b). In addition to these exhortations, the Bible offers us several models of such bold, faith and no more example is more profound than that of the life of Daniel.

When confronted by godless leaders and pressures to conform, Daniel stood out among his peers. He had a plan in place to obey God, no matter the cost, and in the end, God used Daniel's obedience to influence kings, nations, and each of us today.
