There are great applications for us in this passage where Moses, in a sense, confronts the powers of the world. He delivers God's message, "Let my people go," and is immediately shot down by Pharaoh, just as God told Moses he would. But it is God who raises up empires and brings them down as Pharoah and the Hebrew people are about to see. Our role in this world as Believers is to be an influence as much as we can while the opposition wants to marginalize us and beat us down. In this familiar passage, pastor Lloyd shows how we, in faith, swim against the tide when things aren't working out with Moses as our example.
