"The Gospel of Christ is the power of God to salvation for all who believe," (Romans 1:16).
The Book of Romans is an incredibly powerful epistle, which points the reader back to the Gospel of Jesus Christ at every turn. In fact, it is in Romans that we find the often-quoted "Romans Road to Salvation," which lays out the message of the Gospel in this way:
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," (Romans 3:23).
"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us," (Romans 5:8).
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord," (Romans 6:23).
"That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved," (Romans 10:9).
