What are the implications for a nation who has forgotten God? How can we learn from the history of Israel? Isaiah chapter five is a lament for God's beloved, His people who went astray. Israel is described as a vineyard that has gone wild and is unproductive and worthless. Comparisons can be drawn to our day. The Lord looks for justice and righteousness but finds bloodshed and distress. Where are we now?
